The Crusaders took two tough losses each over the past two weekends. With our first home Game opening up against the Detroit the second ranked D1 Mens Squad in the Midwest Union. the Team faced a tough challenge. with several player getting in their first match of the season. Despite finding the Try Zone a couple of times the Detroit squad proved to much for the Crusaders as the Team took a Loss 67-15. With the second weekend headed the D1 Squad Headed to National Final 4 team Chicago Griffins. Due to scheduling conflicts and another D3 Game the D1 Squad Traveled with 15 Players. All Players Played the Full 80 and will keeping it close through the first 40 min or fitness seemed to get the best of them eventually opening up the game. The Final score was 64-14. We did how ever have 3 Young players earn their 1st D1 Cap.
The D3 Side met similar fates over thier two weekends. The Home weekend against the crosstown Rivals the Rovers. After Beating them in the Spring the Rovers returned the favor eventually winning 57-26. The Following week the D3 squad hosted the Canton Maddogs at Windy Ridge Picnic area. Because of the D1 Squad traveling the team was again light but kept with Canton loosing by only 2 tries 41-27.
