Founded in 2015, the Cleveland Crusaders were formed by two rival clubs in the Cleveland area to create a higher caliber of rugby in Cleveland. Starting out as a Division II and Division IV Club the Crusader’s saw much success and the Division IV squad was promoted quickly to Division III.

The vision of the founders of this club was to bring together the entire rugby community in the greater Cleveland Area. The goals envisioned by the founders were to create an environment that was competitive at the top levels of club rugby in the United States, offer an outlet and community for those athletes that just love the game or may be new to the sport, and to promote the game of rugby in our community at all levels.  We envision a future where rugby is a sport that unites people from all backgrounds, and where everyone has the opportunity to participate and excel in their athletic, personal and professional lives.
