Financial Overview

Current Assets are just over $13,000 Annual Club Budget is $55K  We Typically Receive an Influx of Cash from the beach tournament. Dues are extremely important and keep the club running. Fundraiser help keep dues down and help pay for capitol expenditures.

Fundraising

Super Bowl Squares Brought in $1250. and we will look to do more of these small fundraisers to generate funds for the club. Our biggest fundraiser is the Beach Tournament which brings in over $12K in profit each year.

Website and Player Dues.

We have launched a new website. Cleveland-Rugby.com.

We will work towards syncing the website to our social media as well. You can also pay your dues on the website. Player dues levels include ROOKIE, PLAYER, PLAYER+, OLD BOY, OLD BOY+. See the Website for more details.

Practice Schedule:

the Practice Schedule can be seen in the Slides. We have 4 Upcoming Indoor Practices at North Olmsted Field House starting at 7:30PM and Outdoor Bractices will start March 7th at Edgewater at 6PM

Game Schedule.

Our Game Schedule was announced. Our Spring Season will be geared towards getting players minutes to help them grow as a rugby player. And Growing as a team. Several of the Premier and D3 games will have mixed sides. Match detail can be found on our website under schedules.

New Kit Ordered

One of a Possible 2 new kits was order and are expected to be here by the start of the first home game. A new second kit may be order assuming dues payments are collected on time for the summer and fall seasons.

Board of Directors

A Board of Directors was formed in place of the Board of Trustee that were in our bylaws. the goal of this body is to help provide direction for the club long term, help forming old boy relationships in the cleveland area, and provide guidance to the Officer during decision making.  The Full By laws of the board can be found here.   BOD By-Laws

U23/7’s Plan

A proposal has been put together with the board to request funding and to partner with 1964 Foundation to for a U23 select team and run the competitive 7’s club. Assuming their participation the U23 Team name will be the Blue & Grey. We Plan to present on 3/11

Temporary By-Laws

It was the decision of the President Chris Fischer to Rewrite the By-laws to closer resemble how the club is currently functioning from an administrative standpoint. The Goal of these Temporary by laws is to bring the club into compliance. At the 2025 AGM These changes will be presented to the club in accordance with the by-laws to make the changes permanent. This Proposed change was approved by a majority vote.

Vote to Confirm Selection Process.

The Rules and Eligibility for selection of players was presented as was to the players present as a reminder and a confirmation that we want to adhere to these rules in our bylaws. No vote was taken as the rules were already in our by-laws and there were no dissenter in the discussion time.
